Why It’s Better To Have Siblings

Do you have any siblings? As much as they may have annoyed you, there are so many benefits of having a sibling. Whether you're making fun of your parents, or just need someone to express yourself to, you can pretty much ALWAYS count on your siblings to be there when you need a helping hand. So, stop the teasing for a few minutes and try saying thank you to your siblings instead. Here are a few reasons why siblings rock.

Have you ever needed someone to lean on? From hard times to just bad days, your sibling will be undoubtedly beside you in seconds if you need a hug or a shoulder to cry on. Siblings are reliable and can always make you laugh with a comical smile or foolish comment.

Ever dug through your entire draw and are still NEVER able to find something nice to wear? If you're lucky enough to have a sibling who is nearly the same size as you, you'll receive the benefits of a shared wardrobe. Even if you aren't the same size, at least you can still borrow their accessories and don’t forget hand-me-downs! 

Sharing your toys and having to wait your turn when you were really little might have seemed like the end of the world but, as you grow older and older you will realise how helpful your siblings have been over the years. Sharing your toys and waiting your turn in your younger days, has taught you some very important skills, without you even knowing it. 

Siblings can be your guinea pigs! This particular point may seem a little bit mean but, it is a really helpful thing.  If you ever want to ask Mum or Dad for something but aren't sure how they will react, you can just send your sibling to do it for you. This obviously isn’t a very cool thing to do but, I will admit it is very helpful.

Siblings just get your odd sense of humor. No one will ever appreciate your twisted jokes quite like your sibling, who think they are absolutely hilarious. Your sibling will break the uncomfortable silence and burst out in a hysterical ball of laughter no matter how bad your joke is.

As long as the school curriculum stays the same, your older siblings notes are golden! You can use them to copy the answers and many more. You better hope the teacher doesn’t remember them from the years before.

Well, I think the reality is, you have a disadvantage if you don't have siblings. Sure, they can be pretty annoying at first, but at the end of the day, they'll always have your back. There's no greater bond than one that you create with someone that you grow up with, under the same roof.

Statistical Investigation Conclusion

Our aim was to find out who believed in superstitions and who didn’t believe in them. Our results proved this statement because the results displayed that 45 people didn’t know, 22 people said no and 19 people do. An interesting statement about our results was that most people don’t really know what superstitions are. We know this because there were a couple of answers that had the incorrect definition or said I don't know. There was a surprising statement about our results was that people know what they are but, don’t think they have any affect on them whatsoever. We know the because people answered that they knew what they were but, think they are pointless. Overall, we have found that most people know what superstitions are but, think that they are pointless. This was very surprising to use because we thought that most people used them a lot in everyday life. Next time, we could improve our investigation by getting more people to complete our survey and not put any open questions in the survey because they are hard to bring the results down to put into a graph.
